ORIDAM

For the past three years, the Snehaveedu family has been providing shelter to elderly men who have been shunned by their families, all within the walls of a rented building. The hope of owning a permanent “place” began as a distant dream—a home where our aging parents would be protected from rain and sun, free from the burden of ever-rising rent. Presently, we care for fathers alone, but in our hearts lies a strong desire to offer the same sanctuary for mothers in a new, secure space.
Our goal now is to establish a shelter of 5,000 square feet, complete with the essentials to create a safe and loving home. To bring this vision to life, we are launching the “Sq. Ft. Challenge,” inviting compassionate individuals to help—each square foot at a contribution of Rs. 2000. With your support, these cherished elders will find rest and peace in a place built with love and mercy, a haven where they can live with dignity.

Let us come together to fulfill this dream. These gentle souls have weathered enough hardships; let’s offer them a lasting place they can call home.

Stand With Us: How To Help Build a Place of Belonging

  1. You can support us by contributing Rs 2,000 per square foot toward the construction of the proposed 5,000 square foot shelter building.
  2. Names of individuals, institutions, or organizations that donate over one lakh rupees for the shelter construction will be permanently honored on a special plaque displayed in the building.
  3. Financial assistance is available for the construction of various facilities, including rooms and dormitories, kitchens, food halls, prayer halls, auditoriums, office spaces, nursing stations, medicine rooms, storage areas, and enclosure walls, all in memory of loved ones who have passed on to God's presence. The front of each room or building will feature a photo and information about the honored individual, serving as a lasting tribute.
  4. You can also donate construction materials needed for constructing the building.
  5. Contributions can be made through various methods, including cash, checks, bank transfers, Google Pay, PayTM, and other mobile payment applications.
  6. Snehaveedu can be provided with either the entire plot of land or a portion of it needed for the construction of the building.

Benefits under Section 80G are available.
